Mario Salimi
Mario Salimi holds a BFA in Dramatic Arts from Lethbridge University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Education in English Language Arts from the University of Alberta. After graduating from university, he taught English in Canadian public high schools for many years as well as English as a second language to adults in Iran, Taiwan, and Canada. In addition to teaching, he has translated many articles and books in different fields. Mario Salimi was accredited by the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada and officially started working as a full-time
translator in 2017.
Mario Salimi is also an interpreter of the Courts of British Columbia, the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB), the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), the British Columbia Insurance Company (ICBC), and is a member of the British Columbia Translators Association (STIBC).
Since 2017, Mario Salimi has been working with two of the largest translation services companies in the United States, providing interpretation services for an average of 12 hours a day in various fields as an audio interpreter. This has brought about versatility, vigilance, and speed, and interpretation accuracy, as well as familiarity with different accents and dialects.
